Here a typical case history :
A customer with a 35 year old 12 metre x 4 metre concrete pool wanted the pool brought up to modern standards to make the pool safer, more attractive and easier to operate. A complete pool refurbishment was undertaken in the following stages:
Stage 1 - Old winter cover removed from the pool, pool drained, old and damaged fittings removed from the pool shell. New skimmer, inlets, sumps, pipework installed and pressure tested.
Stage 2 - Pit for new automatic cover built, pool re-shaped so that an automatic safety cover could be fitted. New internal entry steps were built into the pool shell
Stage 3 - Tracks for the new automatic cover were fitted to the pool walls. New coping stones fitted to the pool.
Stage 4 - Existing marbelite interior was screeded and new blue mosaic tiles laid throughout the pool.
Stage 5 - Pool refilled with water, water rebalanced. New automatic cover fitted and oak pit cover installed. The pool was handed over to the client within the estimated time scale and budget. Our customer now has a pool which looks new and is safer, and easier to operate.
